Rita Miller, RN,C, is a certified psychiatric and mental health nurse with over two decades experience in group, individual and marital therapy. She also has a degree in psychology. Rita formerly was a clinical service coordinator and therapist for the Center for Mental Health of the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. Currently, she is a therapist in the private practice of Dr. Peter Thomas & Associates in Wyomissing, PA.

Rita's accomplishments are varied:

An experienced presenter, Rita is a member of the National Speaker's Association.  She is well known for her motivational and humorous approaches to managing life's stresses, dealing with change, improving communication skills, and surviving and thriving into the next century.

Rita co-authored a chapter on leadership skills in the book Do It And Understand published by Kendall-Hunt.

More True Blue Tales, a book she co-authored with Leo Frangipane,  M.D.

Rita Miller is a junior author in an article by Larry Rotenberg, M.D. and Albert Stallone, J.D., on the first successful use of the battered woman defense in the State of Pennsylvania. This article was presented at the American Psychiatric Convention.
